The Artistic Dance Festival, hosted annually by the Eclipse Dance Company in East Longmeadow, Massachusetts, is a wonderful celebration of the performing arts.
As hosts, we are happy to have so many wonderful companies join us and share their love of dance with the community. Companies from all over New england will come together to celebrate dance and inspire the community with their talent in performance and classes.
The festival is open to all members of the community and offers a diverse range of free classes, performances, concessions, and fun-filled celebrations of the talented artists of Western Massachusetts.
The emphasis is on bringing people together to experience the joy and beauty of dance in all its forms.

Eclipse Dance Company, a division of ADC ARTS CORP—a nonprofit organization—is under the direction of choreographer Jennifer Gamache-Dubilo, who also serves as Executive Director of the Artistic Dance Conservatory. Since its founding in 2005, Eclipse has been a vibrant presence across New England, performing at both local and regional venues. With a deep commitment to enriching the Western Massachusetts community through dance, the company is celebrated for its powerful storytelling and emotionally resonant choreography. The Artistic Dance Conservatory (ADC) Ensemble is a flagship charitable initiative of ADC Arts Corp, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (DBA Artistic Dance Conservatory). Through this program, we are committed to broad and inclusive community outreach, bringing the transformative power of the arts to people of all ages and backgrounds.At the heart of the Ensemble is a dedicated youth company made up of passionate, talented young dancers who love to perform and share their artistry with the community. These dancers rehearse regularly and work together to create engaging, meaningful pieces that are brought to life on stages both big and small. Throughout the season, the ADC Ensemble performs at a variety of local venues including schools, nursing homes, and community festivals. Their mission is to uplift and connect with audiences through dance, fostering joy, inspiration, and a deeper appreciation for the performing arts. Through every performance, they strive to make dance accessible, impactful, and a vital part of community life.

Garet Wierdsma is a dance artist from New Hartford CT, and is the creator and director of the beloved contemporary dance company Garet&Co. Garet graduated with high honors from NYU Tisch with a BFA in Dance and a minor in Business in 2021. Garet's accolades include her selection as the Choreography Fellowship Recipient for Sacred Heart University in January 2022 and being chosen as a young choreographer for Young Choreographers Festival 2022 in NYC. Garet's work has been invited to perform at a multitude of festivals and shows across the Northeast, including performances at the following prominent venues: Jacob's Pillow, Symphony Space, Ailey Citigroup Theatre, The Warner Theatre, Dixon Place, Chesterwood, and TADA Emerging Artist Theatre. Garet's goal through Garet&Co is to give back to her community and her home state through cultivating a sustainable and strong dance community, offering valuable and positive opportunities for the dancers and audiences of her local region.

Originally from Frederick, Maryland, Rachael began her dance training under the direction of Joyce Morrison at the Frederick School of Classical Ballet. She furthered her dance training attending summer intensives at the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, North Carolina School for the Arts, Kansas City Ballet School, and Complexions Contemporary Ballet. Rachael went on to graduate from Mercyhurst University with a BA in Dance, and since graduation has danced professionally with Ballet Fleming, Fort Wayne Ballet, and Ballet Hartford. Rachael co-founded New England Ballet Theatre in January 2020, and serves as Artistic & Executive Director. Over the past 5 years, Rachael has choreographed 6 original full-length ballets, produced 14 productions, and commissioned 9 new works by emerging choreographers. The final performance of New England Ballet Theatre's 5th Anniversary Season, is La Sylphide which will be performed June 7/8 at Miss Porter's School in Farmington. Tickets are on sale now. New England based bellydancer, Elisheva, is regarded for her riveting performances and warm and thorough instruction style. Elisheva maintains a busy teaching schedule, traveling to teach while fostering her local dance community through instruction and event production. She is the director of Troupe Bellysheva, is an alumni cast member of Bellydance Evolution, and the creator of StackableDrills.com. She has been featured on podcasts, articles, television, and film.. Ascendance is presenting a range of styles and choreography in our performance. Our resident Hip Hop instructor, Jeremy "JROCK" Wheat has choreographed our group dance "Get Low" as well as solos danced by Charlotte Raffetto (Hip Hop) and Alina Ostrowski (Jazz.) Our Jazz Group piece "Claro Que Si" was choreographed by Guest Artist and New York based choreographer Yvonne-Marie Sain. Contemporary and Ballet instructor Jennifer Peterson choreographed "Young and Beautiful" danced by Aida Jiggetts. Our beloved resident Broadway Jazz and Tap instructor David Bovat choreographed the Tap solo "Don't Stop Me Now" danced by Gianna Beluzo, and the Broadway Jazz duet "Me And My Shadow" danced by Sylvia Beckwith-Brown and Autumn Entin-O'Neill. Andi and Brian are Argentine Tango performers, instructors, and organizers. Their teaching is characterized as vibrant, sensation based, and detailed. Their varying backgrounds bring an intriguing collaboration. They view tango as a language versus a set of steps. They’re based in Massachusetts and have been invited to teach and perform throughout the USA at various milongas and festivals. They’re excited to be representing Western MA Tango at the Artistic Dance Festival. Western MA Tango supports weekly classes and monthly events.
