Jennifer Gamache-Dubilo, Artistic & Exucutive Director | Instructor / Choreographer
In June 2003, Jennifer formed Artistic Dance Conservatory. Her vision created a professional dance school, which offers its students a variety of dance instructions in a creative, positive atmosphere and state-of-the-art facilities. Jennifer is proud to now be the President of the ADC Arts Corporation, a non-profit dedicated to the proliferation of Performing Arts and Dance Education. Through her school, she teaches dance technique for both recreational and pre-professional students. Throughout her career, Jennifer has received numerous choreography awards for her work in Contemporary, Jazz, and Modern dance. The American Dance Awards named Jennifer ‘Young Choreographer of the Year’. She has received diamond choreography awards and was honored in Who's Who among American Dance Teachers. Her students have been honored with many prestigious awards for their solo and group performances in Contemporary Lyrical, Ballet, Jazz, Modern, and Hip Hop dance. Throughout her career she has trained dancers that have been accepted to the prestigious dance programs at NYC Tisch, Boston Conservatory, Marymount Manhattan, University of the Arts, Pace, University of Oklahoma, Point Park, Fordham, University of Arizona, Florida State University, Ohio State, and CalArts. Mrs. Dubilo's community outreach efforts develop through the Artistic Dance Conservatory Youth Ensemble and Eclipse Dance Company, for which she is both director and a choreographer. As the former Director of the Dance Department and Choreographer for the Theater Department at the Loomis Chaffee School in Windsor, CT, Jennifer had the pleasure of creating original choreography for dance concerts and musical productions. Her musical theater credits include 11 original productions including Thoroughly Modern Millie, Wonderful Town and Anything Goes. Jennifer also had the privilege of coaching for the American Team at the IDO World Dance Championships in Poland, where her dancers won the overall gold medals for Male Solo Jazz and Contemporary Duet performances. In the past few years, Jennifer's contemporary choreography and teaching style has been chosen to debut in festivals like Dancin' Downtown at the Joyce, The Mass Dance Festival, The International Festival if Arts and Ideas. Dance for World Community, Southern Vermont Dance Festival, The Brooklyn Dance Festival, and the Boston Contemporary Dance festival. Jennifer is continuously educating herself as the dance world changes and progresses. She has had the privilege to work with and study under many dance masters. Jenn is a certified member of Dance Educators of America and holds certification in Acrobatic Arts and Progressing Ballet Technique. With a diverse background and forward thinking ability, Jennifer brings a wealth of knowledge and creativity to every class she teaches.

Rebecca Gamache-Sutter, Sr. Instructor / Choreographer
Rebecca Gamache-Sutter has been studying dance for over twenty years. She has studied at numerous dance schools including Broadway Dance Center, Steps and Dance New Amsterdam in New York City, and the Nancy Carole School of Dance in New Jersey. She has taken classes from Madam Darvosh, Frank Hatchett, Gus Giordano, Charles Kelly, and has studied intensively with her sister Jennifer Gamache-Dubilo. As a child Rebecca performed with the Albany Berkshire Ballet as the lead role of Clara in The Nutcracker. Rebecca has won various dance titles and high score awards in ballet, lyrical, jazz and modern dance. She held the title of “Miss Starpower” for two years at Starpower National Talent Competitions and toured nationally with their performance group, The Power Pak. Rebecca was chosen to perform with N*sync at the 1999 Pro-Bowl halftime show and currently dances professionally as a member of Eclipse Dance Company. She is a certified Dance Instructor through Dance Educators of America and holds certification in Progressing Ballet Technique. In June of 2003, Rebecca accepted the position of Sr. Instructor/Choreographer for ADC. In addition to her work as an instructor, Rebecca is also a founding partner of the Artistic Dance Youth Ensemble for which she choreographs original ballets including The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, Alice in Wonderland, The Wizard of Oz, The Dream, Lyra's Quest, and Peter Pan. Her work is performed throughout Massachusetts in local schools, nursing homes and charity performances. Additionally, Mrs. Gamache-Sutter has been a guest Choreographer for the Theater and Dance Department at The Loomis Chaffee School. Along with her years of experience in the dance field, Rebecca brings an unparalleled ability to teach a refined technique while incorporating a unique choreographic style that makes her work her own.

Natalie Mayko, Instructor/Choreographer
Natalie Mayko has been studying the art of dance for twenty years. As an alumni of ADC she brings a wealth of knowledge to her students. She has studied various styles including ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, acrobatics, and musical theater. Throughout her career she has studied with dance greats such as Sheila Barker, Skip Costa, Elizabeth Parkinson, Kat Wildish, and more. Her performance credits include the Boston Contemporary Dance Festival, The Vermont Dance Festival, The Rockette's opening show, and the Massachusetts Dance Festival to name a few. Natalie continually educates herself to keep up to date with progressive dance education and holds her certification in Progressing Ballet Technique. Along with her lifetime passion for dance and performing, Natalie also pursued her love and passion for helping young people in another way. She has a BA in Psychology and her Masters degree in School Counseling and School Adjustment Counseling. She loves her ADC family and looks forward to working with all the talented dancers at ADC.

Angela Gauthier, Instructor/Choreographer
Angela Gauthier has been a dance artist for over twenty years. A Graduate from The Boston Conservatory, with a BFA in Contemporary Dance Performance and an emphasis in pedagogy. While attending the Conservatory, Gauthier has performed works by Dwight Rhoden, Brian Brooks, Darrell Moultrie, Zoe Scofield, Sidra Bell, Adam Houghland, and Lorraine Chapman. In the Spring of 2017, She was the Rehearsal Assistant for Yury Yanowsky, a Choreographer and former principal dancer for the Boston Ballet. In addition, Angela holds certification in Acrobatics Arts and Progressing Ballet Technique. Outside of The Boston Conservatory she has performed and choreographed for various festivals with Eclipse Dance Company over the years, including Massachusetts Dance Festival, The Boston Contemporary Dance Festival, and Southern Vermont Dance Festival. Ms. Gauthier has also done an internship at the Elliot School assisting Sean Murphy, teaching movement classes to the public school students at Elliot. She is excited to be able to share all the knowledge she has gained to all the students at Artistic Dance Conservatory.

Teri LaFleur Vocal Artist
has enjoyed a rich career in the varied worlds of opera, theatre, and music education. She has performed as a soloist in numerous venues throughout the region, holds many recording credits and has appeared in many principle roles for both musical theatre and plays. Her most recent theatre credit comes from portraying the role of Margaret Johnson in The Light In the Piazza (WUP) in which she was awarded "Best Actress in a Musical" by the Massachusetts Critics Circle. Teri is a voice instructor at Springfield College, and maintains a very active private studio as well. She is a frequent soloist at Trinity United Methodist Church, and is a performing member of the Massachusetts Chapter of the Tuesday Morning Music Club. Teri has recently joined forces with Mezzo-Soprano, Lisa Woods, to form the duo "Bella Voce". Visit Voce at bellavoce.sitehappy.com.

class and dance style descriptions
HIP HOP- Hip Hop dancers work to master speed and musicality throughout their class experience. Hip Hop basics are developed during each class. Dancers will work on fun choreography and work with their peers to explore the overall style of Hip Hop dance. JAZZ- Fundamentals of Jazz dance are explored in traveling steps, isolations, kicks, turns and more. Dancers will focus on body position and placement while learning jazz terminology and choreography. Classes are offered for beginner students to advanced students MODERN- A conservatory based ideal, modern dance introduces dancers to the fundamentals of this movement style. Dancers will learn parallel placement, contractions, spinal articulation, weight transfer and begin to discover floor work as the basis of the Graham, Limon and Horton techniques. MUSICAL THEATER- A combination of musical theater jazz combined with acting exercises, basic vocal training, and imagination. Dancers begin to explore the musical theater world. *Dancers must take a Ballet or Jazz class in addition to Musical Theater and it must be level IIA or higher. There will be a one time additional fee* TAP- In Tap class, dancers learn and perfect rhythm, timing, musicality and precision. Dancers create "music with their feet" as they learn the basics of the tap technique and make rhythms with their feet and the music, sometimes, simultaneously. DANCE WITH ME- Shake, romp, and roll - this introductory class for you and your child to explore space, music, and dance while building strength, coordination, and socialization through fun group and individual activities. Class is for parents and their 18 month to 3 year old. VOCAL AND DANCE PRIVATE LESSONS-are available upon request |
ACROBATICS- In Acrobatics class, dancers are expected to have a background in both Ballet and Jazz dance techniques. Dancers will explore balance and tumbling techniques while working to perfect their technique to master: walkovers, limbers, advanced handsprings, aerials, and partner work. During the progression of their class experience, dancers will develop strength, control and fluidity. Classes are offered to students learning their basic acrobatics skills to more experienced acrobatic dancers.
BALLET- The basis and foundation of all dance forms, Ballet will strengthen and review the fundamentals of technique within dancers' overall training. Ballet class is offered for dancers of all ages and ability--from recreational to students on the pre-professional track. All students, will be challenged technically and artistically. POINTE- Intermediate and advanced ballet dancers explore the foundations of Pointe work through exercises at the barre and work in the center for advanced level students. Dancers must have strong technical foundations and receive permission from the instructor to take class. COMBO CLASSES- Combo classes are designed for children ages 3-7. In combo classes, dancers begin to learn the foundations of ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop or acrobatics introductory motor skills, rhythm and musicality and coordination while having fun and meeting new friends. CONTEMPORARY/LYRICAL: Contemporary and lyrical dance explore the styles of ballet, jazz and modern dance as it fuses to exist in the current dance world. Dancers will be challenged to express themselves as artists and grow intellectually as well as physically and technically in contemporary and lyrical classes. All students are encouraged to have experience in one or all of these styles. BODY STRENGTHENING/TECHNIQUE- This class works on building strength and control while working to increase flexibility and gain better placement and form while executing jumps, turns and a variety of technical skills. DANCE MIX- This class is a great introduction to the styles of Ballet, Acrobatics and Tap. It teaches our beginning dancers ages 3-4 an introduction to ballet, rhythm and musicality, strength and coordination while making friends and having fun. ACTING - Acting Classes are designed to engage the young actor . In our acting classes and drama lessons, students will learn audition skills, character grounding and dig deep into the circumstances that the character must live. We will introduce monologues, scenes, readings, stage & set awareness, interpretation, possible performances throughout the year. Students are carefully placed in a class appropriate to their age, level and experience. |
